Construction of Side Stream Storage for Fairhope Sewer Upgrade Phase I

For furnishing construction services required by the City of Fairhope and described as follows: Construction of Side Stream Storage for Fairhope Sewer Upgrade Phase I Project ADCNR Grant # S1P25-FSU1. The Scope of Services will include, but may not be limited to, construction services to deliver a complete: Side Stream Storage- The complete replacement of the following three (3) lift stations: Twin Beech, Quail Creek, and Woodlands; The existing wet wells shall be lined and reconfigured to connect to the new lift stations/wet wells. The existing wet wells shall remain in service to provide additional storage capacity within the sewer system. Three hundred and sixty-five (365) calendar days will be allowed for the completion of the project. Firms submitting proposals are solely responsible for meeting submittal deadlines. Proposals received after the stated deadline will be deemed non-responsive and will not be considered for any contract awarded as a result of this solicitation. Proposals deemed responsive will be evaluated and an award decision will be made by the City Council. A contract will be awarded to the qualified applicant whose proposal is determined to be the most advantageous to the City of Fairhope. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, and to waive any irregularities or informalities in the proposal process. The Bid Envelope should be titled "Bid constructing Contract No. 006-22 - Side Stream Storage, ADCNR Grant #S1P25-FSU1." Include the following- The bidder's Alabama State Contractor's License Number and discipline shall be on the envelope or it will not be opened. The company that is awarded the bid must have Workman's Compensation Insurance on all of its employees if work is done on City premises. General Liability Insurance must be maintained to hold the City harmless in the event of an accident.
