Description | Water distribution and lift station telemetry SCADA systems are mission critical systems that are used to operate the City's water distribution facilities and to monitor the wastewater collection system (lift stations). The SCADA Systems are made up of computerized equipment and remote terminal units (RTU's) that use various communications equipment and network links to communicate to a main control center. This project will be replacing obsolete equipment and upgrade the systems to more current technology, and be implemented in two phases. Phase I will replace the top end systems (computers and software) used by the SCADA systems, and Phase II will replace and upgrade the communications equipment and infrastructure used by these computer systems to remotely monitor and control the water and wastewater facilities.
