| Description | Work for this project includes furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, fixtures, and services required for extending pavement on Drake Road from the entrance of Drake Cement Plant to Forest Service Road 9899N with 6" asphaltic concrete over 15" aggregate base, then continuing paving through Prescott National Forest Land with 3" asphaltic concrete over 8" aggregate base, and ending project at Forest Service Road 9031F. The total project length is 5,248 feet with approximately 6,400 cubic yards of roadway excavation, 3,760 tons of asphaltic concrete and 4,660 cubic yards of aggregate base. As part of the project, approximately 3,000 feet of existing Drake Road shall be realigned to provide better and safer transportation experiences; the remaining 1,758 feet of the paving shall be performed within existing roadway prism. |
