2023 Oak & Elm Street North Parking Lot Reconstruction

Sanitary Sewer (Gravity), Stormwater Improvements, Roadway Pavement Markings, Parking Lots/Ramps, Roadway Lighting, Sidewalks/Curbs/Gutters, Concrete/Formed/Flatwork/Foundation, Utility Street Construction and Excavation, Electrical Installation/Construction, Traffic Control Devices (Signals, Signing, etc.), Concrete/Shotcrete/Sprayed, Paving (Parking Lot Paving), Signage, Erosion Control - Temporary, Paving (Asphalt or Concrete) Description: The work for which bids are asked includes the following: Replacement of approximately 360 feet of City utilities, reconstruction of approximately 4,200 square yards of urban parking lot and alley, existing surface removals, unclassified excavation, parking lot grading, roadway grading, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, concrete curb and gutter, concrete flatwork, concrete sidewalk, electrical conduit, associated lighting, asphalt paving, pavement markings, and signing. Additional Description: No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the OWNER as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. 1230 South Boulevard, Baraboo, WI 53913.The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the OWNER as liquidated damages. No bid may be withdrawn within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Pursuant to Section 66.0903, Wisconsin Statutes, the minimum wages to be paid on the project shall be in accordance with the wage rate scale established by local wage rates. OWNER reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Published by the authority of the City Of Wisconsin Dells. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by 7 ENGINEER in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to 8 all parties recorded by ENGINEER as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions 9 received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
