Boulder Reed - Removal

Remove all vegetation along shoreline located adjacent to the Boulder (900 linear feet total) and Acacia (60 linear feet total) picnic areas (see map for specific locations); relocate rip rap boulders from the shoreline found in the middle section of the Boulder recreation site to the keyhole section of the shoreline at Boulder recreation site. Any trees restricting access will be trimmed by contractor and/or removed as needed. See Statement of Work for more detail. Davis Bacon wages apply. The government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price contract using RFQ Best Value Tradeoff. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Basis for Award - Best Value Tradeoff - See Section M (lastsection of this document). 4. How to submit your offer. Organized Site Visits Date: March 23, 2023 Time: 1000 am Eastern Time Location: Tonto NF, Boulder Recreation Site 6. Location: Tonto National Forest, Mesa Ranger District. Boulder Recreation Site and Acacia Recreation Site. From the junction of the West Apache Trail (main street) and North Apache Trail (State Highway 88) in Apache Junction, take State Highway 88 (North Apache Trail) northeast 15 miles out onto the Tonto National Forest and look for the first recreation site on your right (south side of Highway 88) called Boulder Recreation Site. This is the site directly behind the Canyon Lake Marina in LaBarge Cove. Acacia Recreation Site is located along the same route to Canyon Lake, except it is located as the first recreation site on your left and its beach is on Canyon Lake. The entrance of Acacia and Boulder Recreation Sites is 0.3 miles from one another.
