| Description | Demolition of non-load bearing metal stud walls and architectural finishes, associated mechanical and electrical systems and equipment within the rooms, abatement and necessary requirements of hazardous material. Add four private offices, the modify conference room and reception area, convert storage room to training room and corridor, relocate training room furniture and new office systems furniture (furniture is NIC). The new hard walled offices will be 3 5/8 inch metal studs with 5/8 gypsum wall board each side with acoustic batt insulation in the stud cavity and acoustic sealant above and at the base of the wall. The four offices will require Cornell approved finishes and hardware for the doors and mechanical, electrical, fire protection and data reconfigurations as impacted. 3. The entire area of works open and private offices, as well as will receive new carpet tile and rubber base, except at entryway of the training room and division of financial affairs and entryway, kitchenette and corridor of office of Sponsored Programs which receive vinyl tile and rubber base, modify power, lighting fixture, lighting controls and voice and data throughout the renovated spaces. New receptacles will be installed flush mounted in the new private office framed walls, where indicated on the drawings. All new receptacles will be mounted 18 above finish floor, except in the kitchenette where new cabinetry would interfere. | ||||||||||||||||||
