| Description | The Solano Irrigation District (District) will be accepting bids from qualified contractors for the cleaning and inspection of fifteen (15) water storage tanks ranging between 10,000 gallons and 2,000,000 gallons. The purpose of this project is to remove all accumulated sediment, conduct an assessment of the interior, exterior, and appurtenances of the tank, and submit a report of the procedures and findings to the District. The cleaning and inspecting of the tanks shall be performed while the tanks are near full and in service. The w Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bidder's bond for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid. Refer to Section 9A of the Instructions to Bidders for further instructions. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, and a labor and materials bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Refer to Section 4 of the General Conditions for further instructions. |
