RFQ Engineering - Engineering Services for Quivira Road - Shawnee Mission Parkway to 75th Street

The submittals received will be reviewed for the design of a heavy maintenance project of Quivira Road from Shawnee Mission Parkway to 75 th Street. Consultants will be notified via e-Builder as soon as the proposals have been reviewed and the selection process is complete. The Contract shall be awarded by the Owner at the sole and complete discretion of the Shawnee Governing Body. Engineering Consulting Firms must have an office within the Kansas City Metropolitan Area and be familiar with the City of Shawnee. The City of Shawnee reserves the right to reject any or all of the proposal submittals and to waive informalities or irregularities of the submittals. The project will consist of the following: partial survey (not AIMS and as needed), design, and development of plans/contract documents for heavy maintenance Quivira Road. This work will include construction items such as a mill and overlay, storm sewer improvements, major signal upgrades at the Quivira Road and 65 th Street intersection, minor signal upgrades at the Quivira Road and 71st Street intersection, upgrading street lighting, the addition of fiber conduit, removal/replacement of curb and sidewalk as needed, ADA upgrades, signing, and pavement markings. Engineering Consultants shall provide ALL necessary documents requested to be consider a complete submittal. Hard copies of the proposals shall be submitted to the City as indicated on the eBuilder website. An officer of the firm making such proposal shall properly execute all forms (if applicable). RFQ submittals received after the time and date above specified shall not be considered.
