| Description | Upgrade of the existing fire alarm system and installation of a clean agent fire suppression system located at Fire Station #3, 844 Virginia Road. The City desires a turnkey project that includes all necessary work for a fully functional, addressable, nonproprietary fire alarm and clean agent fire suppression system. The project consists of two parts. The first part is upgrading the existing fire alarm system to an NFPA 72 compliant nonproprietary addressable system. The existing fire alarm control panel shall be removed at the existing location and replaced with the new fire alarm control panel. The vendor shall also remove all existing initiating and notification devices and replace them with addressable type devices. The second part of the project includes the removal of a portion of the wet sprinkler system in the backup data center located in the basement. The sprinkler system shall be capped at a remote location outside of the data backup center. |
