The project is expected to be awarded on June 13, 2023. aled bids for Contract No. CDBG-C21-01: Jefferson County Commissioners Borough of Big Run Mitchell Avenue Paving will be received by the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners, at the office of the Chief Clerk, Jefferson Place, 155 Main Street, 2nd Floor, Brookville, PA 15825. The project consists of roadway reconstruction and paving improvements on Mitchell Avenue in Big Run Borough, Jefferson County. Payment also accepted using VISA and MasterCard. This payment will not be refunded. Contract documents may also be obtained electrqnically at no charge. Bidding documents including plans, specifications and addenda, must be obtained directly from the Engineer to be considered. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for performance and payment bonds in the full amount of the contract and submit evidence of its qualifications to perform the work. These goals are 5% for minorities and 3% for women. Bidders must document their efforts to solicit MBE/WBE and Section 3 participation on Form STD 286 which is provided in the Contract Documents. Documentation of solicitations must be submitted with the bid.Minority-owned and Woman-owned contractors are also encouraged. No bids may be withdrawn, except when the bidder meets the requirements of Act No. 4 of the General Assembly of Pennsylvania Senate Bill 793, Printers No. 1655. The Jefferson County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality and to award the contract as may be deemed by the County to be in their best interest. Bids shall remain open for a period of 60 days from the date of Bid opening. |
