New WRF SW1A Influent Pump Station (IPS)

The project includes construction of a new IPS and force mains with an initial capacity of 105 million gallons per day (MGD) for Phase 1, with ultimate buildout capacity of 172 MGD. Major components of the pump station will include: Two (2) trench style, self-cleaning wet wells, five (5) 600 horsepower (hp) vertical turbine solids handling pumps connected to 42" diameter steel discharge headers, transitioning in a valve vault to two (2) 48" diameter HDPE force mains (approximately 5000 feet each), concrete junction structures, electrical building, pre-manufactured biofilter odor control system, pre-engineered metal buildings, 5 megawatt (MW) emergency/standby power generator system, civil site improvements, utility relocations, and control system required to operate and monitor the IPS. Pre-manufactured biofilter odor control system 7. 4MW, n+1, emergency/standby power generator system , such that 4MW output is achievable even if one generator set is not operating 8. Yard utilities including fiber optic, ductbanks, potable water, non-potable water, natural gas, storm drains, influent sewer, and site drainage 9. Approximately 4,000 feet of duct bank connecting WRF site to IPS site 10. Civil site improvements including paving, grading, curb and gutter, sidewalk, chain link fencing, and landscaping for an approximate 8-acre site 11. HDPE forcemains from the valve pad header to station 2+57.46. 12. Installation of GFRP influent sewer from the influent pump station to the connection extended from MH#3.
