Waste and Recycling Services

The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, or waive any irregularities, and to make the award in the best interest of the School District. All questions must be submitted in writing on, or before, Friday, March 17, 2023, so necessary addenda can be delivered. Questions shall be submitted via email to Lisa.Maher@cusd200.org Furnish labor, materials and equipment necessary to provide trash removal and recycling service for all CUSD 200 locations. Material to be handled is not compacted – except at Wheaton Warrenville South High School and Wheaton North High School. A Bid Bond or Cashier s Check in the amount of 10% of the total Base Bid (expected annual cost for 1 year annual contract period) must be included with the bidder s proposal. Performance Bond - The successful bidder may be required to provide the District with an annual performance bond equal to 50% of the expected annual value of their services to the District. Bidders are also required to provide with their bids a letter of surety to ensure that the bidder can provide the performance bond if requested by the District.
