2022 Begley Lift Station Replacement

Base Bid: This project is the second phase of the Begley Building Lift Station Replacement Project. The first phase ended prior to connecting the new exterior lift station to the force main or switching gravity flow over to the new lift station. The contractor shall relocate approximately 750 feet of 8 inch sanitary force main. The force main shall be connected to the exterior lift station stub out. The force main shall also connect to the existing force main. Gravity sewer will be rerouted to the lift station through already installed manholes. Manholes shall be grouted to redirect flow to the exterior lift station. The work shall include all necessary exploration for accurately locating existing utilities as well as concrete and pavement replacement. The contractor shall coordinate with the pump supplier from the first phase of the project, Straeffer Pumps, to perform start up, any necessary repairs and place both the interior and exterior lift stations, constructed in phase 1, in operation.
