Obtaining contract documents through any source other than the Engineer/Architect s representative is not advisable due to the risks of receiving incomplete or inaccurate information, and the bidder runs the risk of basing bidder s proposal on such information. The documents obtained through the Engineer/Architect s representative are considered to be the official version and takes precedence if any discrepancies occur. Bids will be accepted only from official bid document holders The City hereby notifies all bidders that this contract is subject to applicable labor laws, non-discrimination provisions, wage rate laws and other federal laws including the Fair Labor Standards Acts of 1938. The Work Hours Act of 1962 and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 also apply Attention is called to the fact that the contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or national origin. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in bidding. Bids may be held by the City for a period not to exceed Sixty (60) days from the date of opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the contract. Work consists of the following: Remove and dispose of existing water meter and replace with the new cellular water meter; replace all metal lid of the meter box with new plastic or composite lid and all scope of work outlined in Section 02670 Cellular Water Meter System; etc. Every request for such interpretation should be in writing addressed to ETC Engineers & Architects, Inc. at 1510 South Broadway, Little Rock, Arkansas, 72202 RE: Water Meter Replacementy Project, Lake Village, Arkansas.
