Description

Newton Housing Authority invites sealed bids from Con- tractors for Repairs and Renovations at 223-225 Trem- ont Street, Newton, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by Reverse Architecture. The Project consists of interior unit renovations and exterior repairs and associated work including driveway repaving, front step repairs, new exterior doors. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.l49 26 to 27H inclusive. This project is being electronically bid and hard copy bids will not be accepted. General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the fol- lowing category of work, General Building Construction, and must submit a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibil- ity and signed DCAMM Prime/General Contractor Update Statement. There are no Filed Sub-bids for the trades on this project. General bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates), and made payable to the Newton Housing Authority. The project consists of repairs to the interior of 225 Tremont St, repaving the driveway, repairs to the front steps and new exterior doors.
