Project Intent This project provides investigation and research, pre-design, and design services in accordance with the DFD Consultant Policy & Procedure Manual to provide the campus greater electrical reliability, service, and interconnectivity for the Walnut, Radio Hall and Microbial Substations. By increasing the reliability of the electrical service, the university will be able to avoid potential power outages, thus maintaining the university’s ability to serve its students. The scope of work is providing cabling to connection Substations (heavy tie) and provide 15kV cable for a circuit along Observatory Drive.
