27-Inch Poudre Canyon Raw Waterline

To provide General Contractor services and work with the City of Fort Collins (City) and its engineering consultant on the design and construction phases of the 27-inch Poudre Canyon Raw Waterline Project. Contractor services for this project may include design and preconstruction support such as cost estimation, risk assessment, constructability review, and construction services for water capital improvements. Contractor Team (including Contractor and subcontractors) qualifications will generally include: A. Experience installing water conveyance pipelines (24” diameter and larger). B. Experience working in a flowing river: including water control, dewatering techniques, and sediment management expertise. C. Experience working in tight, constrained corridors such as narrow alleys or roads. D. Experience with excavation and pipe construction in highly variable subsurface conditions including cobbles and large boulders. E. Use of expansive grout, rock hammers, and blasting to excavate oversized materials. F. Experience with temporary structure stabilization techniques (underpinning) including micro piles and tieback anchors. G. Experience performing work within strict permitting environments. H. Experience working on collaborate project teams from design through construction in alternative delivery systems such as the City’s Alternative Product Delivery System (APDS), CM/GC, or other similar variations.
