Description | Award: Gattis Pro Audio, Inc. for $88,523.75 School District Five of Lexington and Richland Counties is seeking quotes from qualified vendors to furnish and install a new stadium sound system located at Dutch Fork High School. Questions must be received by May 25, 2023 @ 12:00 pm Electronically to D5bids@lexrich5.org SCOPE OF WORK: School District Five of Lexington and Richland Counties is seeking quotes from qualified vendors to furnish and install a new stadium sound system located at Dutch Fork High School. The successful bidder shall provide a complete, turnkey project installation, which includes all necessary equipment, materials, labor and freight. The successful bidder shall also provide the initial system programming and tuning, which must be coordinated with school staff. Prospective bidders are encouraged to inspect the site prior to submitting an offer. The address is: 1400 Old Tamah Road, Irmo, SC 29063. Visitors are required to check in at the main office. SPECIFICATIONS: The stadium system must meet the following requirements: A. Applications: Stadium/Arena, Sports Facilities, Concerts, Theme Parks B. Equipment must include the following: a. Weatherproof Far Throw Loudspeaker (quantity 1 (one))- i. Full range loudspeaker meant primarily for far throw applications ii. Operating Frequency Range: 70 Hz - 18kHz +/- 3 dB ----- 50 Hz - 20 kHz +/-10 dB iii. Sensitivity: 105 dBSPL measured at 1M @ 2.83V input iv. Maximum Output: 138 dBSPL Cont., 144 dBSPL Peak v. Drivers: size 2 x 1.4" HF on Paraline Lense - 6 x 6" Mid - 2 x 15 LF vi. Input Connections: NL4, NL8 vii. Impedance: no greater than 4 Ohms viii. Enclosure Material: Baltic Birch or comparable hardwood ix. Shall be installed at the existing scoreboard to cover "Visitor's" Side. b. Weatherproof Subwoofer Loudspeaker (quantify 1 (one))- i. Shall utilize four 12" long excursion transducers in a unique bass horn enclosure. ii. Operating Frequency Range: - 3 dB 44 Hz - 200 Hz. iii. Sensitivity: 112 dBSPL, 119 dBSPL @ 125 Hz iv. Maximum Output: 142/148 dBSPL Peak, 149/155 dBSPL @ 125 Hz. v. Power Handling: 4,000 W continuous, 16,000 W Program vi. Impedance: nominal single 2 ohm or 2 x 4 ohm switch selectable vii. Shall be constructed of 13 ply Baltic birch or comparable hardwood, water resistant Polyurea coated, and properly braced for the intended use. viii. Connectors shall be Neutrik NL4. ix. Shall be installed at the existing scoreboard. c. Weatherproof Loudspeaker (quantity 1 (one))- i. Shall utilize the synergy horn enclosure. ii. Operating range: 60Hz - 14KHz iii. Sensitivity (measured at 28.3V @10m distance): 1. Low section measured at 103 dBSPL 2. Mid/high section 109 dBSPL iv. Output: 144 dBSPL Program/147 dBSPL Peak v. Power handling: 4200 Watts cont. for lows and 2000 watts cont. for mid/highs vi. Shall be constructed of 13 ply, 18mm Baltic Birch or comparable hardwood, polyurea coated. vii. Shall be installed at the existing scoreboard to cover "Home" side. d. Amplifiers (quantity 2 (two))- i. Shall consist of four channels of sonically pure Class D amplification. ii. Shall have unique, precise digital signal processing. iii. Output: no less than 10,000- & 20,000-watts RMS iv. Shall include analog, AES3 and DanteTM digital network audio inputs. v. Shall have a full front panel user interface |
