Courthouse Electrical Repairs and Wiring 2023

County is seeking request for proposals to add data cabling in 12 courtrooms and the law library. On average each room will be adding 4 drops for around 50 total drops. The majority of the courtrooms have tongue and groove tiles, some of the tiles have already been removed to gain access above to run new cable. Plastic cable raceway is installed for the current cable but may need to be replaced for the additional drops in each room. The switch in Division 14(basement) will need to be moved out of the courtroom and installed in a floor rack in the county Information Technology Server closet. Rack space must be clearly identified as "OSCA". A patch panel and horizontal cable management will also need to be installed. The ground floor rack and 1st floor rack are in good shape to accept additional cabling. The 2nd floor closet where the rack is housed will need a new wall rack next to the existing rack and adding the additional drops and network gear in the new rack.
