Tappan Lake Park Welcome Center Building and Site Work

CONTRACT DESCRIPTION A. Work of the Project includes construction of a new Welcome Center at Tappan Lake Park. Along with the Welcome Center the project includes site improvements and utility upgrades. The New Tappan Welcome Center is based upon the Welcome Center built in 2015 at Atwood Lake Park with minor modifications to the floor plan and site plan. The Project includes all procurement, labor and materials for a complete and fully functional facility and supporting site. B. Perform Work of Contract under stipulated sum Contract with Owner according to Conditions of Contract. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount and form as stated in the Instructions to Bidders. Bids shall be subject to the condition that the right is reserved to hold bids for a period not longer than 60 days after date of opening and/ or to award at any time during the period. State of Ohio Prevailing Wage Rates for Harrison County will be applicable to this project. Current prevailing wage rates are available at the Department of Commerce, Division of Industrial Compliance website (see link below). The MWCD reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to increase, to decrease or omit any item or items and/ or to award to the lowest and most responsible, responsive bidder. The MWCD also reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bid received. Bidder agrees that the following Interim Milestones shall be completed as part of the construction sequence in accordance with Section 01 10 00 Summary of Work: A. Milestone Completion Date 1. Building - Subs. Com. (move in) - March 15, 2024 B. Substantial Completion Date 1. Following demo, new parking - April 15, 2024 C. Final Completion Date 1. May 15, 2024
