Main Street Phase One Project

**As of January 27, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The work to be performed includes all work necessary to construct the work associated with the various disciplines as shown and described in the plans and specifications. In general, the project consists of the construction of a public parking lot, sidewalks, pavers, milling/paving, utility installation, storm drainage, etc. The work associated with this bid shall consist of all work necessary to prepare and construct the project. The Contractor shall include in their bid, all costs for labor, material and equipment. The Contractor shall not include tax on the material needed for this project. The City of Calera shall acquire a Sales and Use Tax Certificate of Exemption. The successful low bidder and their subcontractor(s) shall be required to make application for qualification underneath the City of Caleras Sales and Use Tax Exemption and shall also be required to meet all reporting and accounting requirements of the Department of Revenue. Each bidder must be a licensed Contractor as required under the laws of the State of Alabama.

Division 33 -	Utilities, Instrumentation and Control for Utilities, Water Utilities, Water Utility Distribution Piping, Water Utility Distribution Equipment, Disinfecting of Water Utility Distribution, Water Utility Storage Tanks.
