Residential HVAC Services

Insurance Required Yes Bid Bond Required No Performance Bond Required No Brevard County Purchasing Services, on behalf of the Housing and Human Services Department, is soliciting bids from qualified HVAC contractors to replace residential HVAC systems under the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program American Rescue Plan (LIHEAP ARP), which was funded through the Florida Department Economic Opportunity (DEO). The County anticipates up to 260 residences may qualify to have their residential HVAC systems replaced under LIHEAP ARP funding. The County intends to make award of this solicitation to multiple HVAC Contractors so that the work can begin or be under contract to begin no later than August 1, 2022, in accordance with LIHEAP ARP and DEO regulations. Brevard County has a cap of $15,000 that will be paid towards the cost of replacement HVAC units for any specific residence
