Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs has a requirement for the installation of a Laboratory Microbiology Hood at our Lake City VA Medical Center. A qualified contractor must be able to disconnect the hood from the stainless-steel welded exhaust duct and properly remove the hood from the VA property. The contractor must also be able to install the new hood in the same location and reconnect the hood to the stainless-steel welded exhaust duct. Properly seal all duct seams with approved material. This is a Lab area so the work area must be properly sealed to prevent dust and material from getting in other parts of the lab during removal and installation of the hoods. After the installation the area must be left clean and all debris removed.
