Description

As February 13, 2023, the project has been awarded. A timeline for construction has not been confirmed. For the improvement of a certain section of STATE ROUTE 0167, Sec 550 in Susquehanna COUNTY, Bridgewater TOWNSHIP. The location of the project is as follows: From a point approximately 1 mile North from the intersection with SR 3055 at Segment 0180 Offset 2847 (STA 942+90) in Brooklyn Township to a point approximatelymile South from the intersection with SR 2015 at Segment 0190 Offset 0473 (STA 952+38) in Bridgewater Township along SR 0167 (Brooklyn Road), with a total work area length of 848 feet (0.161 miles). The project consists of the replacement of the existing single span concrete T-beam bridge carrying SR 0167 over Hop Bottom Creek with a new single span composite concrete spread box beam bridge. The project will be staged construction maintaining a single lane controlled with a temporary traffic signal. Other work includes excavation, bridge approach roadway full depth reconstruction, Pile structure foundation, temporary excavation support & protection, drainage, new guiderail, bridge removal, existing bridge/ bridge beam repairs, E & S control measures, permanent signing, pavement markings, landscaping and other miscellaneous construction work.
