| Description | All beams must meet ASTM A709 Grade 50 Steel in accordance with VDOT Road and Bridge specifications 2020, Section 226.02. Galvanized steel shall be Hot Dipped Galvanized per VDOT Road and Bridge Specifications 2020, Section 233.00. All rolled beams shall be ASTM A992 with supplemental Test S5 for Charpy V- Notch impact testing. Test values shall meet the requirements given in ASTM A709 for Zone 2. Delivery to VDOT – South Hill Bridge Crew, 3651 Highway 903, Bracey Virginia 23919. The materials can be delivered Monday thru Thursday, 7am to 5 pm to ensure someone is available to unload the materials. |
