RFQ Construction Manager at Risk - City / County Building Remodel

Saline County (County) is pleased to issue this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Construction Management at Risk Services (Services). The County requests a qualifications proposal (Proposal) for the services of a Construction Manager at Risk (CM) to assist the County during the design, construction, and remodel of the City/County Building located in Salina, Kansas. Minority-Owned, Woman-Owned, and Small Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond to this solicitation. County Administration Area on 2nd floor to move out of building. (not part of contractor's scope). Project B. B. 3rd Floor S.W. Office Staff to move out and work remote (not part of contractor's scope). Project A. C. S.W. Courts Storage Room (scheduled to be new courtroom) to be moved into room directly to the west across from adjacent cell. Project A. D. Court Administrator (Todd Heitschmidt) to be relocated to 1 st Floor Juvenile Courts Area (not part of contractor's scope). Project A. E. Central Court Services Staff Area (north of elevators) to move out and work remote (not part of contractor's scope). Project A. F. New Judge and Administrative Assistant to be located in two offices west of Courtroom #304 (not part of contractor's scope). Project A. G. New Judge and Administrative Assistant to be located in two offices north of Traffic Courtroom (not part of contractor's scope). Project A. H. Begin installation of fire sprinkler system at existing 3 rd Floor Courtrooms and Adjacent Rooms. One Courtroom/Area at a time. Coordinate with Court Administrator. Project A. Phase 2: A. Renovate existing County Administration Area on 2nd Floor into new County Appraiser's Area. Store unused movable walls/doors to Basement. Project B. B. Renovate existing 3 rd Floor S.W. Storage/Office Area into new S.W. Courts Area. Project A. C. Continue installation of sprinkler system at existing 3 rd Floor Courtrooms and Adjacent Rooms. One Courtroom/Area at a time. Coordinate with Court Administrator. Project A. Phase 3: A. Move County Appraiser's to their new space on 2 nd Floor. Project B. B. Renovate existing County Appraiser's Area (1 st Floor) into new County Attorney's Area. Project B. C. Complete renovation of new S.W. Courts Area and move Judge/Administrative Assistant from Central Courts Area. Project A. D. Continue installation of sprinkler system at existing 3 rd Floor Courtrooms and Adjacent Rooms. One Courtroom/Area at a time. Coordinate with Court Admin. Project A. Phase 4: A. Complete renovation of County Attorney's Area on 1 st Floor and move them. Project B. B. Renovate existing County Attorney's Area on 3 rd Floor (N.E.) into new N.E. Courts Area. Store unused movable walls/doors, lights and HVAC units to Basement. Project A. C. Renovate existing Central Court Services (3rd Floor) into new Jury Assembly Area. Store unused movable walls/doors, lights and HVAC units to Basement. Project A. D. Complete installation of sprinkler system at existing 3rd Floor Courtrooms and Adjacent Rooms. One Courtroom/Area at a time. Coordinate with Court Administrator. Project A.
