Description

To provide an Automatic License Plate Recognition (ALPR) System. The Automatic License Plate Recognition (ALPR) System is proposed to provide enhanced security for the residents by continuously monitoring the vehicles entering, leaving, and traversing the City. The distributed (ALPR) Systems shall be linked to a central management server that will function as a primary interface point. The server will have the ability to “process information” which will allow the City to monitor activity and perform investigations; improving the overall safety of the City. The (ALPR) Systems must be fixed and able to read rear-view license plates. The City intends to monitor vehicular ingress and egress through (ALPR) Systems at designated locations
