Description

The Town of Warrenton is seeking qualified contractors to provide and install all materials necessary for the replacement of the sludge thickener equipment at the Wastewater Treatment Plant as specified in the attached. The Town of Warrenton is currently seeking proposals from qualified mechanical contractors to provide and install all materials necessary for the replacement of the gravity sludge thickener equipment at the Wastewater Treatment Plant located at 731 Frost Avenue, Warrenton, Virginia. This work will include the pumping out of existing sludge, proper disposal of this sludge at a qualified wastewater treatment facility, cleaning of the existing tank, coating of the tank and the fabrication and replacement of old equipment. The selected contractor will be responsible for coordinating with the Wastewater Treatment Operations personnel while this tank if offline, and to be responsible for pumping, hauling, and disposal of sludge material while this facility is offline. During this work, the contractor will need to remove the existing 28-foot fiberglass cover and replace it once completed. The due date for submitting questions related to this RFP will be Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at 4:30 pm. Any questions submitted on or before Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at 4:30 pm will be answered and uploaded electronically. It is the responsibility of the Offeror to check electronically prior to the due date for any issued Addenda and to submit with their proposal any and all Addenda acknowledgments signed by an individual authorized to sign on behalf of their organization. All aspects of this project must be substantially completed no later than one hundred eighty (180) calendar days from date of award.
