Person Street Roundabout

As of May 9, 2023, the project has been awarded, however, a timeline for construction has not been confirmed. This project consists of the installation of a Roundabout at the intersection of Person Street and B Street/Old Wilmington Road. Elements include roadway demolition, sidewalk, milling, stormwater improvements, ADA Ramps, Curb & Gutter, Landscaping, Pavement Markings, Crosswalks, Traffic Signs and new asphalt pavement. The Project has an expected duration of 210 days. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Owner and Engineer in writing. Contact information and submittal procedures for such questions are as follows. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid Security made payable to City of Fayetteville in the amount of five (5) percent of the Bidder's maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates).Contractor shall furnish a performance bond and a payment bond equal to 100% of the contract price and in accordance and conformity with the requirements of Chapter 44A of the North Carolina General Statutes. Contractor shall also furnish such other bonds, if any, as may be required by the Supplementary Conditions or other provisions of this contract The Owner reserves the right to accept Bid Forms which nominally vary in appearance from the original paper version of the Bid Form, providing that all required information and submittals are included with the Bid.
