Description | The project encompasses the removal of the existing roof systems of the ten (10) residential buildings in Robinson Village, and the replacement of those roof systems as described below. The work below is applicable to all ten roofs which make up the project: 1. Complete removal of existing roof systems down to the roof deck (sheathing/plywood surface) 2. Removal of any rotted or otherwise deteriorated decking prior to commencing re-nailing. *Bid price shall include/assume the replacement of up to 5 sheets of plywood. Any additional sheets shall be replaced at an installed cost of $2 per square foot. 3. Complete removal and hauling of all roofing-related material, accessories and hardware. 4. Re-nail the healthy and/or replaced decking with 8d ring shank nails in accordance with the Florida Building Code. 5. Supply and install 301b. felt using ring shank nails and tin tags best- suited for the work. 6. Supply and install 26 gauge Galvanized 3”x3” drip edge, 26 gauge mill finished Galvalume roll valley metal 7. Supply and install new plumbing stack flashings and roof vent stacks (with dampers/screen) to replace existing 8. Seal all accessory roof flanges with appropriate flashing cement 9. Apply appropriate shingle primer to the roof flanges to promote adhesion 10. Supply and install new roof shingles consistent with material and in accordance with Florida Building Code. 11. All stack flashings and new roof vents are to be painted to match the new shingles 12. All roofing work and workmanship, shall be covered by a minimum lyr warranty from the Contractor, commencing upon acceptance of work and final payment. 13.
