Emergency Backup Well and Treatment Facility Addition Hampden Water District

Work under this project includes, but is not limited to, installing a new 40 HP, 300 GPM well pump and motor, 55 LF 6" 0 DI MJ raw water discharge piping, pitless unit and level sensor into a new well provided by others; constructing a 28-foot by 17-foot water treatment building that includes 6" 0 DI FLG process piping, valves, appurtenances, a magnetic flow meter, three chemical addition systems, a static mixer, installation and coordination with Owner provided equipment, electrical room, VFD and controls for the well, heating and perimeter drainage; 885 LF 6" 0 DI MJ finished water transmission main, valves, installation of Owner provided hydrant, erosion control, clearing/grubbing, earthwork, site restoration, gravel driveway expansion, test pits, restoration of disturbed areas, related site work and all incidentals required for a complete project. Alternate Bid No. 1 is for a propane backup generator capable of powering the well pump motor with all related equipment and electrical loads in the building, transfer switch and all incidentals required for a complete backup power system.
