Description

FEMA Region 1 requires the repair to a concrete bulkhead at the facility in Maynard, MA. The bulkhead serves as a pass through for cabling between the antenna fields and the underground facility. Currently the concrete bulkhead has penetrations and gaps in the concrete walls that must be repaired. The purpose of this contract is to repair the existing concrete to prevent water ingress. Additionally, the contractor will repair the existing waterproof membrane that attaches to the exterior of the bulkhead. Prior to start of work on this contract, FEMA will remove all cables that are shown in Attachment A of the section of the wall of the bulkhead that is to be repaired.
