Description | Responsibilities of the Fire Alarm Contractor include the repair/replacement of the complete operating fire alarm system of the buildings, including but not limited to: 1. Fire alarm contractor needs to provide 4 full sets of shop drawings with 2 signed and sealed to be approved by the City Building/Fire Department. 2. The Fire alarm contractor, as an expert in his profession, must carefully review the plans and needs to include, in his bid, any extra devices that the Fire Department may require during the shop drawing approval process. 3. Fire alarm contractor needs to provide all the necessary equipment to support all devices. 4. Fire alarm contractor needs to run all electrical conduits necessary to supply a full operational system. 5. Fire alarm contractor needs to provide all the necessary devices to monitor the fire backflow preventer. 6. Materials and Installation for the fire alarm system including raceways, conduit, wiring, devices, programming, testing and certification 7. The remote annunciator needs to be installed in a Nema 4 box at main entry. Specific location to be determined by City of Hialeah Project Supervisor. 8. Materials and installation of all fire alarm panels, remote annunciator and devices 9. Brand names allowed: Fire-Lite or Notifier 10. Materials and installation of all strobe or horn/strobe, pull stations, smoke, duct and heat detectors needed. 11. Contractor is responsible for patching all holes made by themselves 12. Safety Equipment as per OSHA standards 13. All equipment necessary to perform work 14. Testing of all fire alarm system 15. Provide all Fire Department Inspections as required |
