Description

Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a municipal facility in Medina, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 5,600-square-foot municipal facility; for the addition of a 1,300-square-foot municipal facility; for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility. The project is a complete interior and partial exterior renovation of an existing 5,600 SF building and an addition of approximately 1,300 SF. The building is made up of an original structure, built in the early 1900's and at least 5 subsequent additions. In order to eliminate unknown conditions, the Tenant has completed the removal of: nearly all interior finishes, improvements, non-structural partitions, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical improvements, all lead paint and nearly all asbestos containing materials. This has resulted in a building in a rough framing/in-the-dry condition. General Trades Contract - $851,900 Alternate 1, Sound Batt Insulation - $2,700 Alternate 2, Masonry at Stair A - $2,200 Alternate 3, Parking Lot Expansion - $28,400 Alternate 4, Chimney repair - $2,000 Alternate 9, Bathroom and Counters in Office Area - $2,475 Alternate 11, Fencing - $29,150 The EDGE Participation Goal for the Project is 5.0 percent.
