Rehabilitation of Two Bronx River Parkway Bridges (North and South of Leewood Drive) over the Bronx River

Work under this Contract includes all necessary labor, materials and equipment required to: Installation of fiber optic cables on the fascia beams, removal of bituminous concrete overlay, partial demolition of backwalls and retaining walls, installation of dowels onto the existing prestressed concrete beams, construction of a new concrete deck and concrete approach slabs, stone masonry repairs at the existing abutments, installation of riprap, removal and replacement of guide rail on the median and shoulders, traffic markings, signing and striping, installation of video detection cameras, and maintenance and protection of traffic.
