Description

The Project consists of constructing the following Base Bid improvements: 1,900 lineal feet (LF) of 8" PVC water main, 1,700 LF of 10" PVC water main, and 1,000 LF of 12" PVC water main via conventional open-trench methods and 700 LF of 12" fusible PVC water main via horizontal directional drilling; valves, fittings, hydrants, water services, pavement restoration, and associated appurtenances. Additive Alternate No. 1 includes construction of the following improvements: 1,900 LF of 10" PVC water main and 4,700 LF of 6" force main via conventional and directional drilled methods with associated fittings, valves, restoration and associated appurtenances. The additive alternate work will include services such as topographic surveying to support the City’s efforts to ‘design-build’ the utility extensions shown in the Bid Documents.
