To access the IFB, vendors should visit the PASSPort public Portal at https://www1.nyc.gov/site/mocs/systems/about-go-to-passport.page. Click on the "Search Funding Opportunities in PASSPort" blue box. Doing so will take one to the public portal of all procurements in the PASSPort system. To quickly locate the IFB, insert the EPIN, 84122B0005, into the Keyword search field. In order to respond to the IFB, vendors must create an account within the PASSPort system if they have not already done so. Under this is work order based unit price Contract, the Contractor shall furnish and install pavement markings in all boroughs in the City of New York. The Contractor shall perform the Work under this Contract in accordance with requirements contained in the Contract Documents, including, but not limited to, any supplementary plans, drawings, and specifications prepared by the Engineer, which shall be binding upon the Contractor with the same force as the Contract Documents, and as otherwise directed or ordered by the Engineer. The Contract Bid items include, but not be limited to, furnishing and installation of thermoplastic pavement markings ("PMs"), preformed thermoplastic PMs, color surface treatment ("CST") for pavements, resin bonded aggregate surfacing, and waterblasting with vacuum recovery. During the course of the Project, NYCDOT may issue hard copies of Work Orders to the Contractor or may issue said Work Orders electronically. These Work Orders may contain, among other things, location details, technical drawings or plans, and other references which, together, will describe the Work that the Contractor must fully complete within a defined period of time. The Contractor must have the ability to reproduce hard copies of said Work Orders and plot any drawings attached thereto. Moreover, within 24 hours of NYCDOT's delivery of a Work Order to the Contractor, the Contractor must send to NYCDOT a written confirmation of the receipt of such Work Order. The Contractor must install all materials in accordance with the product manufacturer specifications, unless otherwise directed in writing by Engineer, and ensure that all temperature, surface preparation, mixing and application requirements are met for the materials procured and installed. Further, the Contractor must have, at a minimum, four (4) kettle trucks and four (4) hand liners available at all times during the course of Contract to perform the Work.
