forthe: Sandusky Road Utilitiesand Round About Project Bids must be in accordance withspecifications, and on formsavailable from the LCPA, 216Collins Ave, South Point, OH45680 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00p.m. M - F. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a BidGuaranty and Contract Bond inaccordance with Section 153.54of the Ohio Revised Code. Bidsecurity amount shall be equalto of the bid amount and,if furnished in Bond form, shallbe issued by a Surety Companyor Corporation licensed in theState of Ohio to provide saidsurety. A certified check, cashier's check or money order inthe same amount is acceptablebid guaranty. Each Proposal must contain thefull name of the party or partiessubmitting the proposal as wellas all Design Build Team Members, and all persons interestedtherein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experienceson projects of similar size andcomplexity. Ohio Prevailing Wage rates arerequired for this project. Contractor compliance with theequal employment opportunityrequirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, theGovernor's Executive Order of1972, and Governor's ExecutiveOrder 84-9 shall be required. Allcontractors and subcontractorsinvolved with the project shallalso comply with President Executive Order 11246, as amended, requiring Affirmative Actionfor Equal Employment Opportunity. All contractors are requiredto have a drug-free workplaceprogram (a BWC program orcomparable program) to bid onthis project. Each bidder must ensure thatall employees and applicantsfor employment are not discriminated against because of race,color, religion, sex, handicap,familial status, national origin orancestry. LCPA reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals; to waive any informalities inthe bidding; and to enter into acontract with the bidder who intheir consideration offered thelowest responsive and responsible bid. LCPA also reservesthe right to hold all bids for 60days.
