City Streets Repair

As of March 16, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on March 28, 2023. For City Streets Repair For the following alternates on approximately 20,000 square yards of city streets: Alt. No. 1: Contractor to apply chip seal surface treatment providing all labor, equipment, and materials. Alt. No. 2: Contractor to apply chip seal surface treatment providing all labor, equipment and material with the exception of the seal aggregate. The seal aggregate is to be purchased and delivered to the job by the City of Houston. Alt. No. 3: Contractor to apply 1 1/2 " thick Hot Mix Asphalt overlay providing all labor, equipment and materials. Alt. No. 4: Contractor to apply 1 1/2 " thick Hot Mix Asphalt overlay providing all labor and equipment. The Hot Mix Asphalt is to be purchased and delivered to the job site by the City of Houston. All materials, workmanship, and rates of application shall be in accordance to the Standard Specifications for State Aid Road and Bridge Construction currently approved by Of- fice of State Aid Road Construction of the Mississippi Department of Transportation. Once the contract is awarded, the contractor shall provide performance and payment bonds each in the amount of the contract. Certificate of Insurance will also be required.
