Description | Mamaroneck Avenue School NYSED #66-07-01-03-8-028-001 Murray Avenue School NYSED #66-07-01-03-8-029-001 Sealed bids shall be received by the Board of Education, Mamaroneck Union Free School District, 1000 West Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck, New York 10543 for the following contracts: Contract #80 - General Construction location Mamaroneck Avenue School 850 Mamaroneck Avenue Mamaroneck, Ny 1054 Central Elementary School 1100 Palmer Avenue Larchmont, Ny 10538 A detailed description of the work is included in the bid specifications. All technical questions regarding the bid should be directed to LAN (Attention Ms. Danielle Farrell) in writing by fax to 845-615-0351 or by email to danielle.farrell@lanassociates.com with a copy to the Districts Purchasing Agent at LLeone@mamkschools.org. All questions regarding the bid or the bid process will be answered in the form of a written addendum to the specifications and distributed to all prospective bidders. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check payable to Mamaroneck Union Free School District or by a Bid Bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid as set forth in the Bid Specifications. Each Bidder shall prepare their bid proposal, along with a bid security, in accordance with the terms and subject to the conditions set forth in the Bid Specifications. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the minimum wage rates to be paid under the contracts. Wages to workers, laborers and mechanics employed to work on this project shall be paid in accordance with Section 220 of the Labor Law and in accordance with the Prevailing Rate Schedules found in the Project Manual. Submission of certified payroll is required as a condition of this contract. The Contractor must comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations governing the Project, including the Equal Opportunity for Employment requirements as promulgated by the Federal and State governments. Bidders may not withdraw their respective bids for a period of forty-five (45) days after the bid opening date, unless otherwise authorized by law. To the fullest extent allowed by law, the District further reserves the right to reject bids that contain conditions, omissions, exceptions or modifications, or in its sole discretion to waive any irregularities in the bids, or to reject any or all bids or to accept any bid which in the opinion of the District is in its best interest. |
