Description

The Project is located at Plant No. 1 at 10844 Ellis Avenue, Fountain Valley, CA 92708 and consists of constructing a Regional Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system inside Power Building 8 including a DC battery room, UPS panel with associated equipment, HVAC upgrades, utility rerouting, power distribution panels, and SCADA integration. Work will also include installing new ductbanks to route conduit between adjacent facilities. The project also involves replacing aged 480v electrical equipment with use of temporary power during construction. The Engineer's Estimate for this Project is $3,407,623. This Project requires the following classification of Contractor's License: A. All contractors and subcontractors must be registered and qualified to perform public work under Labor Code section 1725.5 to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal for, or perform work on the Project. The Project shall be subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the California Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1771.4.
