Description

This pr oject will relocate Kehoe Track and Field from its current location on campus to the Paint Branch Golf Complex on University Boulevard just outside campus . A new 400-meter eight lane track will be constructed on the existing driving range of the Paint Branch Golf Complex, along with facilities for various field events such as javelin, shot put, discus, high jump and long jump in the inf ield. Spectator seating and event lighting will also be constructed, as well as a hammer throw cage outside the infield. UMD is working on a long-term lease and shared use agreement with the Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission for the entire Paint Branch Golf Complex.
