Description

The project if for renovation of Library bathrooms for barrier-free access and automation of the front door. 1. Obtain Construction Permits (NO FEE). 2. Install all temporary dust and construction access controls to protect the Library’s active areas. Install temporary floor covering in building to access bathrooms (to be removed daily). 3. Demolish interior of bathroom. Remove wall, partitions, fixtures, tile, ceiling, lights, etc. Relocate light switches as needed. 4. Construct new partitions and walls. 5. Install new water closet and lavatory. 6. Provide new ceramic tile wall and flooring. 7. Install new light fixtures. 8. Modify existing HVAC, and electrical systems. 9. Install new bathroom fixtures. 10. Install new finishes, mirrors, etc. 11. Install new automatic door opener at front door. 12. Clean up the work area to the satisfaction of the Engineer and Library staff. 13. All work shall be completed with 60 calendar days, starting the 14th day from the date of the contract award by the Mayor and Council. 14. No portions of the Library (except the subject bathrooms) shall be available for interior storage unless approved by the Library Director 15. Comply with the contract provisions for Community Development Block Grant funding.
