Description | 1. Remove and dispose of existing 1 Meter Dive Stands and Boards. 2. Install two (2) new DuraFirm 1 Meter Dive stands with new Maxiflex-B 16' dive boards. 3. Install six (6) new backplates, in the color of white, on existing Starting Platforms. Midland Public Schools will take delivery of, store and purchase the specified equipment from the successful vendor/contractor to ensure the equipment is on hand for the required installation date. Midland Public Schools will issue a purchase order before the successful vendor orders the equipment. Upon receiving the equipment, Midland Public Schools will have sixty (60) days to issue a check to the vendor. The contractor is responsible for the purchase of any installation materials above and beyond what is provided by the manufacturer to safely install specified equipment. The contractor should include this in their bid pricing. The contractor is also responsible for any finish work around old anchor points matching existing areas as close as possible. A Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the installation price of the Base Bid shall accompany each proposal. The Bid Security may be in the form of a Bid Bond, Cashier's Check, or Money Order. Personal checks are not acceptable. The work shall start the week of June 12, or June 19, 2023, and shall be completed two weeks from start date. If a unit price or extended price is obviously in error and the other is obviously correct, the incorrect price will be disregarded. All bids shall be firm for ninety days (90) from the date of the bid opening. All bids must include a signed "Iran Economic Sanctions Act Certification" a "Familial Relationship Disclosure" form and "Compliance with School Safety Initiative Legislation" (enclosed with documents). |
