Renovations to Canine Temporary Hold Shelter

Renovations to the Canine Temporary Hold Shelter at the Center Haverhill Armory on Benton Road. Work to be performed includes: 1. Removal of existing flat roof. 2. Replace roof with new truss system and roofing (ample pitch to be achieved). 3. Ensure proper seal against the existing brick structure. 4. Removal of the old garage door. 5. Framing in the wall where the garage door used to be. 6. Install one large or two standard windows in the wall where the garage door used to be. 7. Install new exterior siding along the wall where the garage door used to be. 8. Removal of interior wall sheathing down to studs, cleaning existing studs. 9. Insulate walls. 10. Installation of sheetrock, taping, mudding, painting of new walls. 11. Removal of interior ceiling, cleaning existing rafters. 12. Insulate ceiling. 13. Installation of new ceiling; drop ceiling preferred.
