Description | RHCP Unit 104 Rehabilitation Project located at 2006 20th St. Unit 104, Santa Monica, CA 90404. Bidders shall guarantee their bid for a minimum of 270 days. The scope of work for this project includes: Replacing all floor coverings, replacing vinyl composition tiles (VCT), sheet vinyl flooring, resilient rubber base, replacing doors, door hardware, stair treads, complete repair and replacement of kitchen, bathrooms, force air unit, and paint inside of the unit completely, and all associated work. Contractors are responsible for verifying site, building conditions, understand and incorporate the requirement of the testing report provided prior to submitting their bid. This IFB is not a contract or commitment of any kind. The LACDA is not liable for costs incurred in the preparation of the respondent's bid. It reserves the right to issue supplementary information or guidelines related to this IFB. Notwithstanding any other provisions herein, the LACDA reserves the right in its sole discretion to waive minor technical deficiencies in the Bids. In accordance with the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, Age Discrimination Act of 1975 and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, it is the policy of the LACDA to assure equal opportunity to all persons, in the award and performance of any contract, without regard to race, color, sex, religion, national origin, ancestry, age, marital status, or disability. CONTRACT REQUIREMENTS: o Estimated Cost: $45,000.00 to $55,000.00 o California Class B Contractor's License and C-15- Flooring & Floor Covering Contractor with a minimum of 5 years' experience o 5% Bid Bond Required o 100% Performance and 100% Payment Bonds o Completion within 100 calendar days o State Prevailing Wage Requirement o Insurance Requirements (please refer to the Sample Contract in Appendix A for required values.): General Liability Insurance with Additional Insured Endorsement. Shall include Completed Operations and be on a primary and non-contributory basis. Automobile Liability Insurance, coverage shall include owned, hired, non-owned, OR any auto. Workers' Compensation Liability Insurance, shall be Statutory and include Employer's Liability, and a waiver of subrogation., and Pollution Liability Insurance. o Child Support Compliance o Compliance with Senate Bill 854 o Default Property Tax Program o Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Act o Federal Lobbyist Requirements o Jury Service Program o Safely Surrendered Baby Law o Greater Avenues for Independence (GAIN) Program and General Relief Opportunity for Work (GROW) Program o Zero Tolerance Human Trafficking Compliance *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
