Construction Engineering and Inspection Services for Project No. 0155-0171

One (1) prequalified consultant engineering firm, in the category listed above, to provide Construction Engineering and Inspection services for the following project: Project No. 0155-0171 – Improvements to I-84 EB & WB in the town of West Hartford. The proposed improvements include the addition of a travel lane in the WB direction from the Park Road on-ramp to the Interchange 39A off-ramp to Rt. 9 SB for approximately 9,500 ft. In the EB direction, the improvements include the addition of an auxiliary lane beginning at the Interchange 40 on-ramp from New Britain Ave. and terminating at the Interchange 41 off-ramp to South Main Street for approximately 2,800 ft. To accommodate the additional lanes, Bridge Nos. 01744 and 01745 on I-84 EB & WB over Berkshire Road will be replaced completely. I-84 WB Bridge No. 01743B over Ridgewood Road will be widened and superstructure will be replaced. A noise barrier wall will also be installed on Bridge No. 01746 carrying I-84 over Rockledge Brook.
