Architectural/Engineering Design Services for MOW Facility

METRO owned parcel located at 1507 Keene Street on the northeast quadrant of the IH 45 and IH 10 interchange. This parcel is approximately 2.66 acres and would include a main building and a shop located in front of the main building, surface parking, and storm water detention facilities. The proposed facility will encompass approximately 25,000-32,000 GSF for the MOW (excluding the 6,000 SF area for the shop.) Most work is proposed within the existing right-of-way (ROW) or on METRO-owned property. Approximately a total of 2.45 acres of new right of way is anticipated to accommodate the MOW laydown yard. Majority of the laydown yard would exist on a single 2.36 acres parcel with a partial piece of 0.09 acre being needed from an adjacent parcel for access. Keene and Brooks Street reconstruction are also part of the project.
