Description | The Pueblo of Tesuque Utility Authority is seeking Requests for Proposals for design and build of public space that contains a minimum 2,500sf feet of office space and a minimum of 1,200sf of warehouse space. The complex must integrate green building components and contain Pueblo architecture elements. Section I. SCOPE OF WORK (SOW) The Pueblo of Tesuque is looking for a contractor to design a multi-purpose building with sustainable elements and LEED certification for the UA to operate out of. The design and build must include: 1. A minimum of 2,500sf of space to house staff. 2. A minimum of 1,200sf for equipment and tool storage. 3. A front reception/welcoming area open to the public. 4. A private area adjacent to the welcoming area that will allow customers to discuss service and billing issues with staff. 5. Offices for up to 10 staff, with some office space being coworking or similar. 6. Small conference room for up to 10 people. 7. Larger conference/training room for 30 people. 8. Communal kitchen and eating area. 9. Computer/GIS lab room. 10. Water sampling lab room. 11. Public restrooms. 12. Shower, laundry, and locker facilities for staff. 13. Storage and housecleaning closets. 14. Architectural design elements that incorporate features of public utilities with a strong focus on water conservation and resource sustainability. 15. Architectural design elements that incorporate Pueblo design and culture. 16. Weather protected outdoor working, seating, and eating areas. 17. Secure storage for heavy equipment, vehicles, materials, etc. 18. Equipment wash bay. 19. Complies with all applicable State of New Mexico building and construction codes, including electrical, fire, and plumbing codes, and any other codes adopted by the UA. 20. Architect designed and engineered stamped drawings. PROJECT SCHEDULE The Utility Authority would like work to commence as early as October 2022 and conclude by April 2023. Proposals shall include a project timetable by task, with a timeline for completion of the scope of services for the project. |
