Description | Bell Elementary School - Carpet replacement Questions Due Date: Feb 23rd 2023, 2:30 PM CST Pre-Qualified Contractor Opportunities 1) Remove current carpeting in Classrooms 308, 306B, 303, 208, 216, 313,315,316,317, and 318 Est sq. Yd 801 and 1st floor corridor Est Sq. Yd. 712 Total sq. yd for classrooms and corridor is 1513 sq. Yd 2) Staff to remove all furniture and items from the classrooms and 1st floor corridor. 3) Apply diamabrush to floors. 4) Vendor to vacuum all classrooms floors listed and 1st floor corridor. 5) Vendor to apply adhesive for carpet tile to entire floor in assigned classrooms and 1 st floor corridor. 6) Contractor to use 100 lb. roller over entire floor in classrooms. 7) Vendor to furnish Carpet tile (24x24) 8) Vendor to provide samples for the school 9) Furnish and install new commercial carpet in 1st floor corridor equal quality as existing carpet. 10) Area to be cleaned a upon completion and vendor to dispose of all trash. 11) Vendor will use proper tools and equipment to provide a safe workplace. 12) Vendor will supply all materials and labor. 13) Contractor to secure necessary permits. 14) Contractor to field verify dimensions and specifics of all projects listed above before placing bid. 15) Not responsible for contractor errors as a result of non-field verification. 16) Materials and installation must comply with CPS Standards and Specifications as listed on 17) Section 09 68 13 Tile carpeting 18) Secure job site overnight if work is not completed in one day. 19) If building or CPS properties are damaged during construction, contractor to replace and/or repair as necessary. 20) Provide necessary labor and materials to fix/correct issues preventing any or all of the projects to be marked as completed. 21) All work shall be coordinated with the Board authorized representatives to complete in an agreed upon time frame. 22) Contractor is to remove and dispose of materials torn out and any construction debri |
